A Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician

It was a sweltering summer day in the Tri-State area, and John, an HVAC technician with J. E. Shekell, was already on his third service call. As he pulled up to the quaint Newburgh home, he could hear the faint hum of a struggling air conditioning unit.

The Call

John grabbed his tools and headed inside, greeted by the homeowner’s grateful smile. “Thank goodness you’re here,” she said. “It’s like a sauna in this house!”

The Diagnosis

After a thorough inspection, John identified the problem – a blocked condensate drain line. He quickly got to work, clearing the line and restoring proper drainage.

The Fix

With the drain line cleared, the AC unit sprang back to life, delivering refreshingly cool air throughout the home. Mrs. Wilson’s relief was palpable.

As John packed up his tools, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride in his work. Whether it was installing a new system in Evansville or performing routine maintenance in Princeton, he knew he was making a difference in people’s lives, one cool home at a time.
